Welcome

I started my career in veterinary medicine as a receptionist at a small three doctor general practice in New Jersey back in 2015.

I quickly moved on to an unlicensed assistant role at a different general practice in July of 2016 where I was taught the basics of clinical medicine.  I learned my first technical skills on the job from my incredible mentors.

I made the jump to emergency medicine in 2017 and like many ECC junkies, never looked back.

I passed the VTNE in August of 2018 after applying through the state of Wisconsin via the alternate route application.

I earned my elite level Fear Free Certification in 2020 and I am RECOVER BLS and ALS Rescuer certified.

Currently, I hold licenses in eight states and I travel the country for Veterinary Emergency Group on their travel team.

I have a huge passion for continuing education and training and have held multiple training and supervisory roles over the course of my career.  What started as an educational TikTok channel has now grown into me trying to start my own training and education services.

While I don't yet know the permanent course of this site, I do know that I want to help empower the veterinary team of tomorrow.
